I know what the currency will be for. Itll be either a warzone deal, or another Apex Copy with the crafting stations and mobile respawns. You get currency from chests and randomly scattered. Either itll be Buy stations mabey as vending machines dropping randomly on the map. or Jonesy markets dropping. You use the currency to buy sheild, health, upgrades to guns, or other items like the mobile respawns. Thats my guess.

I think the currency (wad stash) will have something to do with Party Royale. Right now, Party Royale doesn't seem to make much sense. I appears that Epic saw that people were meeting up in creative just to hang out and chill. So they thought they would build a place where you could meet your friends and maybe other people. You can also squad up in PR... so if you are hanging with some people and you decide to jump in a match you don't have to back out of PR. But notice how many of the stores are restaurants... But you can't buy food in Fortnite. What if the store sold skins, emotes, back bling... what if you could 'try on' a skin in a virtual changing room? What if you take your skin to a cash register and purchase it from an NPC shopkeeper? What if you could join any type of match while visiting PR. What if some types of LTMs cost you currency to play? Basically, what I'm saying is... could Epic replace the startup screen with PR making the whole game a TPS-style immersive experience? One that could translate easily into VR...
